TIPS FOR CHEESE

TIPS

ON LOOKING AFTER

YOUR CHEESES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM HOME

Cheese should be stored in a cool, damp area eg. pantry or garage. It can be stored in the bottom of a fridge, loosely wrapped to prevent it from drying out or cracking.

Most farmhouse cheeses have a covering of mould, either white boom or blue. This is harmless and can be scraped off. Occasionally it will penetrate to the middle of the cheese with no ill effects.

Before serving unwrap and leave at room temperature for 1- 2 hours.
